He's got your back

The scriptures have been given to us so that we won't sin. That should be the heart desire of every born again believer - not to sin.

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. (1 John 2:1-2, NLT)

When we become a new creation in Christ we begin a new life, a life where we no longer live to please ourselves and our own fleshly desires (sin), but where we now live to please God. However, as we are yet to receive our new glorified bodies, at times we may stumble and sin. It is in those moments that we are not to dwell in our sin, but we are to repent and continue to move forward in righteousness because we know that the blood of Jesus truly is powerful enough to make up for our mistakes. You can trust that Jesus continues to remind the Father that He has paid your fee whenever you fall short; therefore, you never have to experience a separation from the Father again!

God has covered us on both fronts. Not only has He given us the tools not to sin, but if we find ourself having sinned, He has also provided the solution to get us out. In both circumstances the answer is JESUS. The sacrifice that Jesus made isn't just for us who believe now, but for the whole world. Since Jesus is God, His blood is worth the life of every human being, past, present and future. It is simply up to us to receive Him.
